Kalimah Ashby serves as Vice President, Decommissioning and Relocation Lead for Stream’s Manufacturing, Food & Beverage, and Distribution platform. She specializes in advising clients on complex facility transitions, including decommissioning, relocations, and operational move strategies.

She brings experience supporting decommissioning and relocation efforts for clients such as ABB, Erasteel, and Asahi Refining of Florida, helping clients exit, consolidate, and transition facilities while protecting operations, assets, and business continuity. She specializes in managing complex, high-risk transitions where downtime, environmental compliance, and coordination are critical. She skillfully oversees planning, vendor procurement, exit negotiations, asset idsposition, building restoration, and transition execution.

Prior to joining Stream, Kalimah served as a Senior Project Manager with JLL’s Industrial Project & Development Services group. In that role, she supported consistent service delivery across client engagements and built strong partnerships with contractors and vendor partners.

Earlier in her career, Kalimah built a diverse real estate background spanning commercial and residential advisory, brokerage, and property management. Her experience includes client representation, contract negotiation, feasibility analysis, and operational oversight. She previously held a broker’s license in the state of Maryland and a real estate salesperson license in the District of Columbia.

Kalimah studied business and finance at the University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) and has completed more than 150 hours of continuing education in commercial real estate and financial structures. She is a LEED Green Associate and OSHA and ASTM certified to deliver Property Condition Assessments to the E2018 Standard.
